This morning, Grandma Sue and Grandpa Erik came by for a visit on their way home from Grandma Sue's birthday trip to the hot springs. For no real reason at all, I decided to celebrate the occasion by making an enormous amount of Indian food for lunch. Happy birthday! Here's your curry and a little interpretive dance from the toddler!
You were very excited to see Grandma Sue and have a chance to demonstrate your play kitchen. To be honest, you're excited about any special occasion that gives you an excuse to eat blueberry cheesecake.
After lunch, Grandma Sue took you outside to play in the snow so you two could "cool off" after spending so much time in the "warm house." If you're wondering where you get your internal thermometer, take it up with the lady in the green vest.
We all had a great time with Grandma Sue today, even Erik, who was a real sport about being told that a Speedo isn't appropriate outerwear at the hot springs. I say stick to your fashion guns, Erik.
We're so glad we got to help celebrate Grandma's Sue's birthday, that you had someone to play in the snow with, and that we now have four pounds of jasmine rice left in the fridge.
Love,
Mom
