Greatest Hits

Hey y'all,

With all of our field trips and adventures, I don't mean to suggest that we didn't have fun just hanging around the house. One afternoon in particular, I went to a local thrift store that sells huge grab-bags of assorted plastic crap toys for $4, and bought two of them. You guys spent an entire afternoon sorting through your treasure and setting up Laney's Toy Store, known for its excellent selection and terrible customer service ("Yes, we have it. No, you can't buy it.")

We blew about a million bubbles.

We stayed up later than usual, so Laney could tell me not-at-all scary stories. (Example: "You know that girl Madison? In my class? The one with the pink sleeping bag? Not the teacher Madison but the little kid Madison? The one who plays with Izzy? She's seen the LEGO Movie."

But on our last day at Peg Peg and Tex's house, I told Laney she could think back on the previous week and choose her very favorite things to revisit. Sort of a "Laney's Greatest Hits" for the city of Fayetteville. She made this list:

So that's what we did.

Love,
Mom
