Hey y'all -
As art of Dad's birthday weekend festivities, we went on a hike today in the mountains near our house. The cutest thing was that Hagen wants to walk everywhere himself. In the end, we spent thirty minutes loading everyone and everything in the car, twenty minutes driving to the site, and about 45 minutes walking back and forth on the same 500 feet of trail. But did everyone have a good time? Yes. And I had lots of spare time to take pictures of pine cones.
Pine cones always smile when you tell them to, and they never talk back. Score one for pine cones.
